In order to answer the needs of a growing community, The First National Bank of Litchfield was founded in 1814. After navigating through many challenging and prosperous times alike, today-almost 200 years later-we remain a leader in our market.

Our top priorities continue to be meeting the financial goals of our customers and delivering top notch service. We're proud to be one of the most forward thinking banks in Litchfield County and the Farmington Valley, while at the same time, being an active leader in the community.

Amidst the current turbulence in the financial industry, our customers feel reassured that they are in solid hands with FNBL. Guided by conservative lending practices and strict standards, we are steadily delivering value and demonstrating growth. Over the last two years we added three new banking offices, expanded our Wealth Management offerings and added an Equipment Leasing division. We were also one of the first to introduce Health Savings Accounts and the break-through Remote Deposit Capture technology.

How do we do it? Our people. Across all levels and disciplines, our people are dedicated and passionate about what they do. They are all experts in their field, and have a strong desire to see FNBL help their neighbors succeed.
